Hinkley’s Lighting Factory will accept returns within 15 days of product
delivery. The product must be in its original packaging and be in resalable
condition. The product must not be damaged or show any signs of installation.
The customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and manufacturer’s
restocking fee, which may be up to 50%.
To request a return, the customer must call a lighting consultant at
1-(602) 279-6267 to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA). No returns
will be accepted without an RMA. RMAs will not be issued for custom,
discontinued, or one-of-a-kind products. Consumables such as light bulbs, wire
nuts and other hardware will not be eligible for an RMA except when originally
packaged with an eligible product as stated above.
Returned product must be shipped via a carrier that offers package tracking, such
as UPS or FedEx. After shipping the product, the customer must contact Hinkley’s
Lighting Factory at 1-(602) 279-6267 with their RMA and the package tracking number
within 5 business days of receiving the RMA. All RMAs will be automatically closed
and be invalid after 5 business days of issuance if a tracking number has not been
provided by the customer.
Once Hinkley’s Lighting Factory receives and inspects the returned goods, a credit
will be issued to the customer’s account within 30 days, provided that the return
meets the above criteria. Hinkley’s Lighting Factory will not issue credits for
products damaged in shipping. The customer is responsible for filing a claim with
the shipper for the product value.
Order Accuracy and Order Changes/Cancellation
After placing an order, you will receive an email detailing your purchase. Please
review this email for accuracy and contact us immediately if have any questions.
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory is not responsible for items purchased in error and will
not assume any cost to exchange the items.
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory will process all orders as quickly as possible and cannot
accept changes to orders that have already been processed.
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory cannot guarantee that an order will be able to be changed
or canceled after it has been submitted. However, customers wishing to change or
cancel their order may contact a lighting consultant at 1-(602) 279-6267 between 9am
and 5pm (MST).
Orders for custom, discontinued, or one-of-a-kind items cannot be canceled once they
All orders will be processed as quickly as possible. Shipping rates are not
predetermined as we pass on fees directly from the manufacture/shipper and do not mark
up shipping. Orders placed on-line are subject to free freight at our discretion.
Orders that are called in and placed with a lighting consultant are considered “In-house”
orders and will be subject to shipping fees. Customers will be informed of any and all
shipping charges at the time that Hinkley’s Lighting Factory is made aware of the charges.
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory cannot accurately predetermine how quickly a manufacture will
be able to ship product. Approximate lead times for most manufactures are 3-4 weeks
from date of order placed. Custom product can have lead times of approximately 14-16
weeks, depending on the manufacture and product ordered. For more accurate information
on lead times, you may call a lighting consultant at 602-279-6267. If an order has not
been placed at the time of your call, please be aware lead times can change and Hinkley’s
Lighting Factory cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies on the manufactures part.
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory strives to give the most accurate information possible based on
the information provided by a 3rd party and will not be held responsible for any
inaccuracies provided to Hinkley’s Lighting Factory. If any inaccuracies occur, Hinkley’s
Lighting Factory will strive to remedy the situation to the best of its ability.
Orders that are placed anywhere outside of Arizona are subject to be tax exempt. If
Hinkley’s Lighting Factory determines that an order should be taxable, customer will be
alerted as quickly as possible and applicable taxes will be added to order. All orders
placed within the state of Arizona are subject to tax. If you hold an Arizona Tax Exemption
Certificate, please call in your order and fax the appropriate documentation (Arizona Form
5000 or 5000A) to 602-279-7963.
